By now the Czech Gripens have been in service in the Czech Air Force for five years. Back in 2004 the Czech Republic signed the contract for 14 Gripen aircrafts. Only a year later the Czech Gripen aircraft entered the joint European NATO operation NATINEADS. Since then the Air Force have successfully protected Czech airspace, performed a four month campaign policing the Baltic airspace and exceeded 10,000 flight hours. > Read more
